Duluth News-Tribune (MN) - September 3, 1998 Deceased Name: SIDNEY L. GARON Sidney L. Garon, 85, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 1, 1998, in St. Louis Park, Minn. He was born in Duluth on Oct. 12, 1912. He moved to St. Louis Park five years ago. He graduated from Duluth Central High School. He was employed at Architectural Resources, Duluth. He was a member of Adas Israel Congregation, B'nai B'rith. He was a World War II veteran. He was a member of Adath Jeshurun Congregation, Minneapolis. He is preceded in death by his wife, Frances; parents Moses and Anna; a sister, Lilyan; and brothers Ben, Himan and Abe. He is survived by a son, Andrew of Golden Valley, Minn. Graveside service: 1 p.m. today in Adas Israel Cemetery, 1400 Howard Gnesen Road. Memorials preferred to Sholom Home West, 3620 Phillips Pkwy., St. Louis Park, MN 55426.
